Soprano Hannah Grove started singing professionally whilst studying for her Physics degree at Oxford and since then has performed regularly across the UK and abroad, both as a consort singer and now principally as a soloist in both chamber and oratorio settings.

Known for the clear quality and agile nature of her voice, she has a particular affinity for the repertoire of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, working with period instrumentalists such as the Academy of Ancient Music and the Corelli Orchestra.

In addition to her frequent performances of early and classical repertoire, she is in demand for her interpretation of many 20th century and contemporary works and has given the world premiere of several new compositions.

She has recently joined with experienced lutenist Elizabeth Pallett to form a new early music duo, Amarylli, with performances over the past year including two Renaissance programmes for soprano and lute, Love’s Sweet Passion and If Music and Sweet Poetry Agree, and a 17th century programme Cupid's Lament for soprano, theorbo and baroque guitar.

Away from the concert platform she runs classical concerts for babies and toddlers, has returned to her organist roots, and discovered baroque dance, alongside a secondary career in website design, and most importantly, raising her rapidly growing young son.
